Travel.
We understand that destination weddings ask a lot of their guests to attend, therefore we will try to make it as effortless as possible for you. Here you will find flight tips and accommodation recommendations within varying ranges of budgets. Hoping that this helps!
How to Get There &
Where to Stay.
Flights.
For those residing in the United States, typically the best time to book a domestic flight would be around 1-4 months in advance.
We also understand those of you coming from Canada and Mexico have different guidelines. For international flights, it is best to book flights about 5 months in advance as that is when prices are typically lowest!
We understand booking can be tricky at times, so we deeply appreciate everyone being flexible with the travel requirements.
Hotels.
With a destination wedding, it is typical for hotels to grant the couple what is known as “Room Blocks” for their invited guests to stay. This means that a set of 10-50 rooms will be set aside at a discounted rate for their guests who book through them. We have decided upon “The Lotte NY Palace Hotel” located directly behind St. Patrick’s Cathedral for our room blocks . This is to ensure everyone has easy access to the Cathedral the day of the wedding! Rates begin at $409/night and are available only until all the rooms are filled.

Hitting the Streets.
From our experience, we have actually found Taxi transportation to be significantly smoother and more affordable as opposed to Uber or Lyft. We would suggest you opt for this type of transportation, but there are also alternative forms such as the subway, though we would recommend to pursue that route with safety caution.
Apparel.
Here’s to the season that first brought us together- from a warm “welcome, please make yourself at home”, to the hush of winter’s breath after a November soirée. We wish for nothing more than to spend this month filled with our favorite things, shared with those we love.
Typically the transition from a Central Park autumn into a classic Frank Sinatra winter can have a bit of unpredictability. With this being the case, temperatures drop to a consistent 50°-60°F (10-15 °C) with a mix of sunny and rainy days. We highly encourage for you to dress your black-tie outfit with warm accents. Plan for a reliable jacket(peacoats are popular here), scarves, hats, fashion gloves etc. Both venues will be indoors, but transitions in between can get chilly at times!
