Q & A’s.

This page includes all of the general questions typically asked by guests before the wedding. Any additional questions can be submitted in the entry below.

  • What is the dress code?

The wedding is a black-tie event. Guests are invited to a formal dress code of tuxedos and maxi dresses following the color scheme of all black. A small side note- we encourage still dressing warm!

  • Can I bring a guest/date?

With St.Patricks being so spacious, you are more than welcome to bring a plus one to the wedding ceremony and celebration portion. However due to venue space limits, the reception is for invites only.

  • Can my children come?

While we would love for your children to experience a weekend in New York, they are welcome to the ceremony, but again the reception is invite only.

  • Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

No, the two venues are held in different spaces. The ceremony will be held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the reception will be held at the Lowell Hotel Club Room, and celebration portion is TBD.

  • Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony and reception will be indoors, although they are in different spaces. We encourage you to plan for reliable transportation and a jacket in between events!

  • What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

We recommend guests arrive at least 30 minutes before 2:00 p.m. (1:30 p.m.) to the ceremony to find your seat. Seating will be open with no split between families, so do not worry about being on the “right” side:) Please note also the front two rows are reserved to those in the wedding party. Ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm.

  • What is there to do from the ceremony until the reception?

While we understand there is some time between the ceremony and the reception, who’s to say you can’t still have fun with a bit of free time? We love all of our guests and want each and every person to feel special. Please go to our activities page on this website for a sneak peak of our favorite finds in New York!
