How it works:
Think you’ve got the perfect name for our future dachshund pup? Or just want to help us choose from the best of the best? Here’s how to play Doxie Dash!
1. Name Entry ($50 and up):
Want to throw your own name into the ring? Any contribution of $50 or more lets you submit a name for our puppy! Your suggested name will be added to the official list for others to see and support with votes. Please leave your suggested name within the textbox on the checkout page when donating!
2. Voting ($25 per vote):
Already have a favorite? You can vote for any name on the list!
Each vote costs $25, with discounted bundle options for those who want to cast multiple votes or give a name a serious boost. Every dollar helps your chosen name climb the ranks!
3. It’s All About the Donations:
The name that receives the highest total dollar amount in donations — from name entries and votes combined — will be crowned the winner. So whether you donate to add a name or vote to back one, it all counts toward its victory!
4. Leaderboard & Cutoff Times:
Our live leaderboard on the website will be updated daily so you can track the top contenders.
Name submissions close the morning of the wedding.
Voting remains open through the reception.
5. The Big Reveal:
After dinner, we’ll announce the winning name and introduce our new puppy-in-progress to the world — all thanks to you!

We love you all, and trust your judgement when choosing a name. Please keep in mind that if you donate to add a name, these will all be on public display for everyone to see & vote for. We ask that you keep the name appropriate, they can be funny, cute, wedding themed, or whatever you can think of :) We are excited to hear all of your ideas!
